Message from the Desk of Director
“
With the core objective of producing skilled healthcare professionals and actively contributing to solving the country’s health challenges both directly and indirectly, this institution has been dedicated to excellence since its inception.
I would like to share a brief overview of our journey, milestones, and current academic programs:
Our Journey & Contribution
• 1994 (2051 BS): Started our journey with the 15-month TSLC Community Medical Assistant (CMA) program.
• 1996 (2053 BS): Expanded our curriculum by introducing the 18-month TSLC Auxiliary Nursing Midwife (ANM) program.
• By 2094 (2051 BS): Successfully produced around 2,500 skilled healthcare professionals through our CMA and ANM programs, who continue to provide quality healthcare services across the nation.
Program Upgradation
Following the Government of Nepal's policy decision, the healthcare TSLC programs were phased out after the academic session 2019/2020 (2076/2077 BS). In alignment with this transition, we upgraded our institution with affiliation from the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).
Since 2022 (2079 BS), we have been successfully running the following 3-year Diploma level healthcare programs:
• Diploma in General Medicine (Health Assistant - HA)
• Diploma in Physiotherapy
"Since these technical programs play a vital role in minimizing the healthcare challenges of our country, I warmly invite parents and students to explore these opportunities, pursue their passion for healthcare, and step forward into building a bright and impactful career."
